Crain’s Detroit Business called Detroit the “epicenter of the robotics industry” 30 years ago, and now they are revisiting those claims to see how things have changed since then. For PRISM Plastics, utilizing robotics has been a critical part of the business plan since the company was founded.
"Robotics and automation is a necessity for the way we run the business," said Jeff Ignatowski, director of sales and marketing. "Part of our strategy is to avoid labor as much as possible, allowing us to compete globally with technology by eliminating labor costs."
