PRISM Plastics has raised a total value of $1,971 in donations benefitting The River Outreach Ministry’s “Streams of Hope” Outreach Program. Rod Bricker, president of PRISM Plastics, made the announcement. The donation is the result of a two-week long collection period in which PRISM Plastics set up drop boxes at each of its three manufacturing facilities in Chesterfield Township and Port Huron, Mich., and Harlingen, Texas.
Employees and individuals in the community were encouraged to bring supplies to benefit those in need in the Port Huron area, including hats, gloves, socks, scarves, hand warmers, bottled water, Band-Aids, lotion, lip balm, baby wipes, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and more. In addition, PRISM Plastics matched all funds donated by employees up to $500.
“At PRISM Plastics, we’re constantly looking for ways that we can get involved in the community and provide assistance to those less fortunate,” said Bricker. “The needs of individuals and families can be great and varied during the winter months, and it’s our hope that this initiative will provide the necessary assistance to help those in need through this difficult time.”
