PRISM Plastics acquires Meadville, Pa.-based Tech Molded Plastics

PRISM Plastics - meadville

Earlier this year, PRISM Plastics made the strategic decision to grow its operations by acquiring Meadville, Pa.-based Tech Molded Plastics—a move that nearly doubles PRISM’s size and revenue. The move also gives the organization immediate access to a proven and sophisticated team of professionals while adding in-house mold building capabilities to the company’s service offerings. PRISM plans to invest $1 million into the Meadville facility this year, including undertaking an IQMS integration, enhancing automation through the use of robots, and installing a Very Narrow Aisle Racking System in the facility’s warehouse. “In acquiring Tech Molded Plastics, we recognized a strategic opportunity with a company that shares our philosophies regarding manufacturing, business, family, and culture to further expand our capabilities and capacity to fuel future growth,” said PRISM President Rod Bricker.
