PRISM Plastics invests in technology and equipment combined with precisely controlled processes. As a result, we have an average of only three process engineers per shift (no machine operators) supervising each facility. As result, PRISM is very organizationally thin and lean allowing us to keep our costs down.

Utilizing 100% electric molding machines allows PRISM to eliminate any contaminants related to hydraulic oil. We deploy a closed loop chiller unit which only uses 50 gallons of water per week.

We have a maximum of 8 – 10 customers per facility, which not only allows us to focus and respond to customer’s needs, but allows each factory to focus on the customer’s product types.

We invest in the latest state-of-the-art equipment including our molding machines, robots, conveyors, grinders and even lighting. The upfront investment pays dividends in quality, delivery, pricing and customer support.

PRISM utilizes the IQMS ERP system which ties in each of our machines, facilities and disciplines. We control our process from initial quote through accounts receivable, and everything in between. This includes production monitoring, inventory, accounting, preventative maintenance, program management, quoting and shipping. We deploy best practices in all our systems and facilities which equates to elimination of waste and variation.
